Description
The JUMO TB/TW 08 is a freely programmable temperature limiting device. The measurement input is freely configurable for resistance thermometers and thermocouples as well as current and voltage signals.
Temperature monitors/limiters monitor thermal processes in systems for a set limit value. If the limit value is exceeded, the installed relay (with safety fuse) switches the system to a secure operating state. The green OK LED goes out and LED K1 is lit red. If the system returns to the OK range, the Reset key must be pressed for TB instruments. On the other hand, TW instruments automatically reset themselves without any external control. The KV relay can generate a warning alarm signal at an adjustable temperature before the limit value is reached. The switching state of the signal is also indicated by the KV LED.
TB/TW 08 are designed for panel mounting and are wired via plug-in screw terminals with a conductor cross-section of max. 2.5mm2. A PC setup program is available as an accessory and can be used to adjust and save the sensor mode, measuring range, output behavior and inhibits.
