Measuring Cells for Free Chlorine, Chlorine Dioxide, Ozone, Hydrogen Peroxide, and Peracetic Acid (202630)

These membrane-covered, amperometric measuring cells are used to measure the concentration of free chlorine, chlorine oxide or ozone in aqueous solutions (e.g. drinking water, bath water, industrial water, process water, and cooling water).
The measuring cell for free chlorine can be used to measure the following anorganic chlorination agents: chlorine gas (Cl₂), electrolytically generated chlorine, sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl, chlorine bleaching solution), calcium hypochlorite (Ca(OCl)₂), or chlorinated lime(Ca(OCl)Cl).
The measuring cell for chlorine dioxide can be used to measure chlorine dioxide from chlorite/chlorine and chlorite/hydrochloric acid plants.
The measuring cell for ozone can be used to measure electrolytically generated ozone, for instance.
The electronics integrated in the measuring cells provides a temperature compensated 4 to 20 mA current signal. Calibration is carried out in a downstream device (indicator, controller, recorder, PLC, etc.).
The measuring cells can be directly connected to a suitable display and control device. The display/control device JUMO dTRANS AS 02 (data sheet 202553) is especially suitable for the combination with the measuring cells. It provides the voltage required for the supply of the measuring cell and allows for easy calibration of the measuring system.
