For this purpose, JUMO presents the ecoLine O-DO – a new digital sensor based on a visual measurement procedure (luminescence method). Unlike conventional electrochemical sensors, the optical sensor is characterized by a measurement that is low-drift, low-maintenance, and has great long-term stability. It is suitable for use in communal and industrial sewage treatment plants, drinking water monitoring, water protection, fish farms, and other applications.

JUMO Germany generated a turnover of 152 million euros (previous year: 152 million euros). Internationally, an increase in turnover of 1.5 % was achieved, with the previous year's consolidated turnover of 202 million euros rising to 205 million euros.

Product manufacturers make a solid choice with the DICON touch, the two-channel universal process and program controller from JUMO. Both control channels use the tried-and-tested JUMO control algorithm with two possible optimization options to suit the relevant requirement and process. These enable a simple, highly-accurate, and time-saving startup. As a result, this process and program controller handles even multi-zone control, cascade control, or other complex/interlinked control tasks with ease. Here, the control processes can be visualized on the vibrant TFT color graphics display. The touchscreen ensures that operation is comfortable and intuitive, which in turn facilitates the startup and system management.

Expansion of Flue Gas Temperature Monitor Product Range JUMO heatTHERM-AT
Fulda, 30.01.2013The flue gas temperature monitor (ATW) from the JUMO heatTHERM-AT range is now even better equipped to meet the requirements of the heating industry and the related sectors. A new feature for this device is the design of the probe element itself. The external diameter of this probe element is now 6 mm, rather than 4.2 mm as was previously the case. This makes the thermostat considerably more robust and suitable for heating more than living-spaces. Yet it meets the requirements of DIN EN 14 597 with regard to the response time of < 45 s in air, so that the new version is also approved according to this standard.

New Electromechanical Temperature Controller with Compact Design
Fulda, 30.01.2013JUMO has expanded its portfolio of electromechanical control devices with the temperature controller from the 606220 panel-mounted thermostat range. These devices enable efficient control of thermal processes without the use of auxiliary power. The temperature controller operates according to the fluid expansion principle: the filling liquid in the measuring system expands when warmed and thereby actuates a microswitch via a transmission mechanism.

The nickel wire can be processed with excellent results using the usual connection techniques and is therefore suitable for numerous applications. It records free chlorine from inorganic chlorination products (e.g. chlorine gas, hypochlorites, etc.) and combined chlorine (e.g. chloramines). Typical applications include monitoring of swimming pools and drinking water.

Halogen-free wheelset temperature probe for railway technology
Fulda, 27.08.2012JUMO has been developing, producing, and marketing sensors for industrial temperature measurement applications for over 60 years. The new wheelset temperature probe made of halogen-free materials represents an innovation. It has been tested and verified according to the required railway standards such as IEC/EN 61 373 ("mechanical shock"), category 3. The requirements of the standard are based on an operating life of 20 years in harsh rail operation. Meeting these requirements contributes significantly to the high operational reliability of the probe.
